Troubleshooting Items Stuck in Merge Type Workflow Step
We have recently seen a pattern where items stay in the
"Merge" step for an extended period of time. How can we check whether
any of these items are stuck or whether it is waiting for a split
item entry to join before moving to the next step? If items are stuck,
how can we move them to the next step and how can we find the root
cause?

The appsvr process cannot be terminated
When global security is enabled in WebSphere Application Server and admin_security=true is
set in the env_settings.ini file, if an incorrect WebSphere Application Server
administrator user name or password is specified in the env_settings.ini file
or in the command line, the command to stop the appsvr process will
fail.
Reserving an item in a workflow
Reserving an item in a workflow step by clicking Reserve sometimes
does not succeed. Even clicking Refresh multiple
times will not show the item as being reserved.
Restrictions with multi domain entities and translation
In InfoSphere MDM Collaboration Server versions
10.1 and earlier, InfoSphere MDM Collaboration Server assumed
the default products, catalog, entities to be items, and hierarchy,
entities to be categories. The multi domain feature removes this
restriction and allows the product entity to be a user-defined domain
entity specified on the product catalog and hierarchy as well.
Some of the files in docstore do not show up in the file system
An export job recreates a few output files in a docstore
folder which has been mounted to the file system. While I see some
of the files copied from the docstore into the file system with the
correct timestamp, the rest of the files do not show up.
