New support for CL retrieve exit programs running after command completion
The IBM i command analyzer support for the QIBM_QCA_RTV_COMMAND exit point has been enhanced. The registered exit programs were always called just before control was transferred to the command processing program (CPP) associated with the command being run. Now, you will be able to register an exit program for the QIBM_QCA_RTV_COMMAND exit point and indicate that you want the exit program to be called after control returns from the CPP. See Command analyzer exit points for more information.
New built-in functions support for both ILE CL and OPM CL
Like other CL built-in functions, these built-in functions
can only be used in compiled CL programs or procedures. You can specify
a TGTRLS (Target release)
value of V7R1M0
or V6R1M0
when
compiling your CL source that uses these new built-in functions except
%CHAR, %DEC, %INT and %UINT (%UNS), the CL program can then be saved
off your 7.2 system and restored and run on a system running IBM i
7.1 or IBM i 6.1. New build-in functions %CHAR, %DEC, %INT and %UINT
(%UNS) can only be used in CL programs or procedures created and run
on a 7.2 system.
