To add a server printer, the logon user ID must be a system administrator.
Server print is supported for spooled file data types
of SCS, SCS-extended, AFPDS, and LINE.
In general, here is how you work in the administrative
client to add a server printer:
Choose a server and select Printers.
Pick one of two ways to add a server printer.
Define the properties of the server printer by completing
fields in the Add a Printer dialog box. Search
for printer,adding in the online help for more details.
When finished, add the server printer by clicking OK in
the Add a Printer dialog box.
