Launching VMware management software

From VMControl you can open VMware management software such as the VMware vSphere Client or the VMware Infrastructure Client.

Before you begin

To launch a VMware client from IBM® Flex System Manager VMControl the VMware client must be installed in the default location:

C:\\Program Files (x86)\\VMware\\Infrastructure\\Virtual Infrastructure Client\\
Launcher\\VpxClient.exe

To launch a VMware client, complete the following steps:

Procedure

On the Chassis Manager page, click Resource Explorer under General Actions and then locate the host or virtual server from which you want to start the VMware client.
Right-click the host or virtual server, and select VMware Client. The VMware client is started in a new window.
