svcinfo traceroute

Use the svcinfo traceroute command to print the wide area network (WAN) route packets to a specified host.

Syntax

Parameters

-ip <remote host>
(Required) Specifies the system hostname. The destination address can either be IPv4 / IPv6 or a fully qualified domain name (FQDN).
-node node_id | node_name
(Required) Specifies the node ID or node name from which to perform the traceroute.

Description

This command prints WAN print route packets to a specified host.

An invocation example

svcinfo traceroute -ip hymir

The resulting output:

traceroute to hymir (x.xx.xx.xx), 30 hops max, 60 byte packets
 1  x.xx.xx.x  0.349 ms  0.428 ms  0.508 ms
 2  x.xx.xx.xx  0.245 ms  0.224 ms  0.224 ms
