Managing security

You can create, apply, and administer security on objects that are created by Content Platform Engine.

Security policies
Security policies contain security templates that you can use to apply and manage the security applied to documents, custom objects, and folders.
Administering markings
Primarily intended for records management applications, markings provide a way to define a level of security on objects in addition to the normal FileNet® P8 security model (ACLs, default instance security, security policies, security parents, inheritable depth).
The Security Script wizard
The Security Script wizard assigns security roles to user and group accounts to create security principals for the objects in an object store.
