Creating a code module
You can create a code module to contain one or more action handlers.
Procedure
To create a code module:
- Start the new document wizard in the administration console:
- In the domain navigation pane, click the object store.
- In the object store navigation pane, right-click the Browse > Root Folder > CodeModules folder and click New Document.
- On the Define New Document Objects step in the new document wizard, select Code Module for the Class field.
- Select the With content check box.
- On the Document Content Source step, click Add to add the code module document as a content element. For example, you might add a code module document that is named JavaEventHandler.class as a content element.
- Set the MIME type for the content element:
- Select the content element.
- Click Change MIME Type. For information about the required MIME types, see MIME type for a code module element.
- Create an event handler for the code module:
- In the object store navigation pane, right-click Events, Actions, Processes > Event Actions and click New Event Action.
- In the Specify the Type of Event Action step, specify
the Type in the following way:
- Click Class.
- Enter JavaEventHandler for the Java class handler field.
- Select the Configure code module check box.
- In the Specify the Code Module and Associated Content Elements step, click Load Existing.
- In the Add a Code Module window, select your code module document and click OK.
- In the Content elements lists, verify that you see the source file for the code module.
- Complete the wizard.
