You must install IBM® Case Foundation if you need full workflow processing capabilities. You can install IBM Case Foundation either interactively or silently.
Be sure that you have available the Installation and Upgrade Worksheet that was completed during your planning activities.
You can install the IBM Case Foundation components shown in the following table. Note that some of the components can be installed only on Windows.

Tools | Install the Tools component
to install utilities for Case Analyzer.
The Tools component includes database maintenance tools to compress
the Case Analyzer store, configuration
and management tools to configure Case Analyzer settings and to initialize
and manage the Case Analyzer store,
and upgrade tools to upgrade the Case Analyzer service. Install the Tools component on the Content Platform Engine server after installing the Content Platform Engine. If the Content Platform Engine server and the Content Platform Engine Tools component are installed on different machines, install the IBM Case Foundation Tools component in the same location as the Content Platform Engine Tools component. |
Case Analyzer Components | Choose from the Case Analyzer components to install workflow analysis and reporting capabilities. Excel and SSAS OLAP options only appear on Microsoft Windows platforms. For more information, see Case Analyzer installation and upgrade. |
