Supply Chain Intelligence enables you to engage with your suppliers at scale to streamline management and reporting of purchased products, goods, and services and puts your organization on a path to decarbonize your supply chain.
The module provides you with visibility into the emissions that are attributed to your purchased
products, goods, and service in your supply chain. These scope 3 categories are category 1 -
purchased goods and services and category 2 - capital goods. Supply
Chain Intelligence helps you to
- Identify which suppliers are most material to your organization.
- Engage suppliers at scale to collect emissions data.
- Automate the capture of transactional data from ERP and financial accounting systems.
- Gain insight into emissions hotspots in the supply chain to prioritize emissions reduction efforts.
- Develop a line of sight view into data gaps to improve the quality and quantity of scope 3 data.
- Gain a comprehensive and aggregated view of scope 3 categories 1 and 2 to support corporate and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Broaden your understanding of the sustainability targets and Environmental, social, and Governance (ESG) performance of your suppliers.
Emissions data from suppliers is synchronized with the IBM® ESG Suite base platform and is incorporated in scope 3 emissions reports and emissions dashboards.
