Installing and enabling LQE relational store

Before you begin

Before you install LQE rs, ensure that the Engineering Lifecycle Management apps that you are using are upgraded to version 7.1 or later.
Note:

When you are enabling LQE relational store and hosting it on Db2, ensure that there is a user temporary table space. The user temporary table space is required after you enable the Use database temporary tables optimization in Report Builder. For more information, see Db2 documentation.

Procedure

  1. Install the new user experience.
  2. Start the application server.
  3. Enable diagnostic data logs for report executions in Report builder.
  4. Register Lifecycle Query Engine relational store and Report Builder with 7.1 JTS.
  5. Configure Lifecycle Query Engine relational database connection.
  6. Adding the TRS feeds as data providers to the Lifecycle Query Engine rs server.
  7. Configure Report Builder to use the relational database connection.
