Deleting and archiving schedules

You can delete single or multiple schedules or export results.

About this task

You can delete a single or multiple schedules or export results from the Schedules and results tab listing. To view the schedule of a report that is deleted from the Reports tab listing, see the Schedules and results tab listing, with the Report name field indicating [Report deleted]. You can archive schedules by completing the following steps:

Procedure

  1. You can delete a single or multiple schedules or export results. 
    • To delete a single item, click the More actions icon for the corresponding item. 
    • To delete multiple items, select the checkbox for the corresponding items. 
  2. From the list of actions, click Delete.
  3. A dialog box displays, asking you to confirm the delete action.
  4. Depending on what you are deleting, you will get the following options: 
    • If deleting a schedule with export results associated with it, you have the following choices: 
      • Delete: This choice permanently deletes the selected schedule and results.
      • Archive: This choice sets the schedule frequency to Archived and the schedule will no longer run, but results can still be accessed. You can continue to access an archived schedule and you have the option to restore it, if needed.
    • If deleting a schedule without export results associated with it, you can confirm that you want to permanently delete the schedule. 
    • If deleting export results, you can confirm that you want to permanently delete the results. This has no effect on the schedule. 
    Tip:

    If you delete items by mistake, you have a short amount of time (10 secs by default), in which you can undo the delete action. The delay duration of the delete action can be configured by an administrator from 5 to 30 seconds.

  5. Optional: You can restore an archived schedule if you want to use it again. 
    1. Locate the archived schedule that shows Archived in the frequency column. 
    2. Click the More actions icon for the archived schedule and select Restore
    3. On the Schedule step, change the frequency from Archived to the schedule frequency that meets your needs and set the corresponding date and time information. 
    4. Click Save.
