Troubleshooting Lifecycle Query Engine
If errors or exceptions occur while you are using Lifecycle Query Engine (LQE), use the log files and application logging to research and resolve the issues.
Note: For ELM version 7.0.2 SR1 iFix015 and later, the logging property file name and
configuration parameters are changed because of the move to Log4j2. For more information on the
updates, see IBM Support portal.
The following log files are generated by LQE:
- LQE log
- JTS_ROOT/server/logs/lqe.log
- LQE properties
- JTS_ROOT/server/conf/lqe/lqe.properties
- Jazz® Team Server log
- JTS_ROOT/server/logs/jts.log
- WebSphere® Liberty log
- JTS_ROOT/Server/logs/lqe.log
- WebSphere Application Server log
- WebSphere_Install_Dir\AppServer\profiles\server_name\logs\lqe.log
You can download the LQE logs from the Advanced Properties administration page at https:<Host_name>:<port>/lqe/web/admin/advanced. The settings in the Install_dir/server/conf/lqe/log4j.properties file determine what logs you have and where they are.
