You can install an add-in for Microsoft Word
or Microsoft Excel to export test data. The exported file
can then be imported into the Quality Management application as test artifacts.
Before you begin
Make sure that the following software is installed before you install the Excel/Word export Utility:
- Microsoft .NET framework, v3.5 or later.
- Microsoft Excel 2003 or later
- Microsoft Word 2003 or later
You must have write access for %appdata%\Mso2Rqm\Mso2Rqm_Debug.log
file. For instance, if you are a Windows 10 user, you must
have write access for C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Mso2Rqm log directory,
where USER is your user Id.
Procedure
- You must first install the Microsoft interop
support onto your system. For more information, see How to: Install Office Primary Interop Assemblies for instructions.
Note: The prerequisite for the interop assemblies is .Net framework v3.5. However, choosing to
install the most recent version is the only alternative in the Software Updater and is compatible
with the installation of the interop assemblies.
Note: The .Net framework v1.1 needs to be installed from the Software Updater if not already
available. This version is needed by the interop assemblies.
