Integrating Rational DOORS and Jazz Reporting Service

You can integrate IBM® Rational® DOORS® with Jazz® Reporting Service and use the capabilities of Data Collection Component and Report Builder to create reports on data in Rational DOORS projects. This integration applies to Rational DOORS 9.6.1.7 or later.

About this task

Jazz Reporting Service uses the Data Collection Component to extract data from registered products, transform the data, and store it in a data warehouse for reporting purposes. You can use the Rational DOORS working set, attribute and link type mapping, and the reportable shape to determine which data is available for reports. For more information, see Configuring Rational DOORS data for external applications.

For information about installing and administering Jazz Reporting Service, see the most recent version of the reporting documentation for the IBM Rational solution for Collaborative Lifecycle Management in IBM Knowledge Center.
