Installing Rhapsody

Use the instructions in this section to install, modify, repair, and remove IBM® Engineering Systems Design Rhapsody®.

Planning the installation
Before beginning the installation for IBM Engineering Systems Design Rhapsody, review the software requirements and the release notes for the hardware and any additional prerequisites specific to the release.
Pre-installation tasks
Generally, you install other vendor software that IBM Engineering Systems Design Rhapsody integrates with, such as compilers and add-on software, before installing Rhapsody . With those other products installed, the installation wizard for Rhapsody can locate and link to them during installation.
Installing Rhapsody
You can install IBM Engineering Systems Design Rhapsody on Windows system.
Post-installation tasks
After you install the IBM Engineering Systems Design Rhapsody client, you might want to integrate the product with Eclipse. Or, if your compiler was already installed before you installed Rhapsody , make sure that the path to your compiler is set correctly in Rhapsody .
