Integer Field Type

In Emptoris® Sourcing, integer fields are fields in which you can make number entries and if required also use the values for calculations.

Other than the basic information required for creating this field type, the table following table lists some additional fields.

Field Description
Enable automatic scoring?

If you enable auto scoring option, supplier’s responses are scored automatically.

The score fields for Minimum value and Maximum value and enabled and the fields are displayed as mandatory fields.

Minimum value The minimum value permitted.

If you select the Inclusive switch, the user can enter a value that is equal to the minimum value. Or else, the user must enter the value greater than the minimum value.

Maximum value The maximum value permitted.

If you select the Inclusive switch, the user can enter a value that is equal to the maximum value. Or else, the user must enter the value less than the maximum value.

Score Score that is associated with the minimum and maximum value.
Default value The value must be between the minimum value and the maximum value.
Use in formulas? Makes the field available for formulas.
Available for display in the list? Makes the field available on the list screens of the respective property such as the RFx page.
Include on search form Makes the field available in the Search form.
Permissions Makes the field available for the selected user with specified permissions.
Scope Makes the field available in the selected features of the application.
Contract Data Definition (Name) (for category, item, and bid property)

The field is available only in an Emptoris Sourcing – Emptoris Contract Management integrated environment.

Search and select an Emptoris Contract Management Data definition field to link the category, item, or bid attribute.

Importance (for question property) The value indicates the importance of the question. It can be 0 - 10, where 10 is the most important.
Show Stopper (for question property) Makes the field/question a show stopper.
Allow Local Values (for supplier profile property) Makes the field available for buyers to enter local values that can differ from what the supplier enters.
Section (for supplier profile property) Makes the field available in the selected section of the supplier profile.
