Emptoris Sourcing Overview

IBM® Emptoris® Sourcing is a web-based software application that enables an organization to optimize the process of procurement and provides state-of-the-art capabilities for analyzing and awarding items and services.

Using Emptoris Sourcing, you can do the following activities:

Generate detailed RFx(s) that involves creating items and services that your organization wants to purchase.
Invite selected supplier organizations to bid on the RFx(s).
Analyze bids that use performance factors, weights, business constraints.
Creating event reports by data export by using Sourcing Desktop Intelligence.
Award bids.
Generate reports.

Apart from the features that are mentioned, you can also do the following activities:

Create binders to group multiple RFx(s) together.
Create Notices to submit to Tender Electronic Daily.
Import and export information in Microsoft Excel, XML, or CSV templates.
