Editing consumer keys
You can edit an existing consumer key.
Procedure
- Log in to the Administration page of the Jazz® Team Server
or an application that is registered with the server.
- For the Jazz Team Server:
- Point your web browser to
https://fully qualified hostname:9443/jts/admin
Remember: Thefully qualified hostname
is the host name along with the DNS domain reference of the computer on which the Jazz Team Server is installed. - On the Administration page, click the Server tab.
- Point your web browser to
- For an application registered with the server:
- Point your web browser to
https://fully qualified hostname:9443/application/admin
to access the application, where application is one of the following values:ccm

- On the Administration page, click the Server tab.
- Point your web browser to
- For the Jazz Team Server:
- In the Communication pane, click Consumers (Inbound).
- On the OAuth Consumers page, in the Authorized Keys section, hover over the Actions column for the Consumer Name of the key that you want to edit and click the icon.
- In the Edit Consumer Key Properties dialog box, edit the values for the name, secret, or trusted values of the consumer key.
- Optional: To associate a functional user ID with the consumer key, which
allows requests to be made by the user without additional authorization, click Select
User. In the Select User dialog box, add the appropriate
user. Note: Applications use this capability to run background administrative tasks, such as sending email notifications, without user intervention.
- Click Finish.
