Setting maximum attachment size

You can set the maximum size of the attachments that you can add to test artifacts in IBM® Engineering Test Management to help reduce the size of the Engineering Test Management repository.

About this task

You can add attachments to test artifacts such as images and attachments in rich text sections, test case attachments, and test data files. The Test Component > com.ibm.rqm.planning.service.integration.AttachmentUtilService > Maximum Attachment Size (MB) advanced server configuration property specifies the maximum size for attachments in MB. By default, the maximum size for attachments is 50 MB. You can edit the property to change and set a new attachment size.

Procedure

  1. In a web browser, go to the Application Administration page of the Quality Management application.
  2. In the left pane, under Configuration, click Advanced Properties.
  3. On the Advanced Properties page, under Test Component, change the value of the Maximum Attachment Size (MB). The default value is 50.
  4. Click Save.
