DS CLI
Use the DS CLI window to enter DS CLI commands from the DS8000® Storage Management GUI. You can use the window to type DS CLI commands or select a script that contains commands.
After you enter a command or script, press Enter to run the DS CLI process.
To stop the currently running DS CLI process, press Ctrl + C.
To save the content of the DS CLI command output in the Embedded DS CLI window, right-click the content and click Save as.
To remove the content of the DS CLI command output from the Embedded DS CLI window, right-click the content and click Clear.
If you close the DS CLI window while a command or script is running, these processes continue to run.
- Unsupported DS CLI commands
- The DS CLI does not support the following commands (which
depend on files that are not located on the storage system):
- applykey
- chsyslogserver
- installsoftware
- managekeygrp
- managekeymgr
- mkkeymgr
- mkipseccert
- mksyslogserver
- offloadauditlog
- offloaddbcheck
- offloadfile
- setauthpol
