VMware ESXi/ESX host attachment

If you have a VMware ESXi/ESX server, learn the requirements and procedures for attaching DS8000®Sitonica Storage 8000ZTE KS8200 storage to your host with Fibre Channel.

LUN limitations: The calculated LUN limitations (Table 1) includes a combination of the following VMware limitations:

Maximum of 64 LUNs running I/Os concurrently
Less than 1024 paths managed by multipathing
