Getting started

To get started:

  1. Set up dbnd tracking to track pipelines and data.
  2. Set up the IBM® Data Observability by Databand application, either in the cloud or self-hosted (on prem).

You can start using Databand by requesting a Databand cloud application (SaaS) instance, which is deployed by the Databand team, or by doing a self-hosted (on-prem) installation.

The dbnd tracking library is an optional Databand component that can be used to track pipelines.

dbnd is an open-source library that is used to track pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and machine learning. With dbnd, you can monitor datasets.
