Searching for process guidance

You can search for process guidance directly from the Process Browser window.

About this task

To conduct a search for process guidance using the Process Browser:

Click Help > Process Browser.
Enter a search term or phrase in the Query field.
Click Search.
Optional: Click Scope to initiate an advanced search, and then do the following in the Search Scope window:
1. Optional: Under Topics, select the check box for the name of each topic category you want to search.
2. Optional: To include pages related to each topic category in the search results, click Include related pages, and then select the check boxes beside related pages you want included.
3. Click OK.
If you have made changes to the Search Scope window, your changes are committed and a new search is initiated.

The search results appear in the Search Results page of the Process Browser.
