Lesson 6: Test the Ant script

Test that the script publishes the model and generates a report as you intend.

Procedure

To run the Ant script:

  1. In the Project Explorer view, right-click publish.xml; then click Run As > Ant Build... Be sure to click Ant Build... and not Ant Build.
  2. On the JRE page, under Runtime JRE, click Run in the same JRE as workspace.
  3. Click Apply.
  4. Click Run to run the Ant script. The model is published and the HTML report for SimpleUMLModel is generated.
  5. You can navigate to the output in Windows Explorer and open the generated files: C:\temp\antpub\index.html and C:\temp\antrpt\MetricReport.html.
