Adding Terraform Orchestration Service to Blueprint Designer

This topic guides you through the steps to run the Terraform Runtime Service.

Make sure the Terraform service is running. Use the Start the Terraform Runtime Service section.

To run the Terraform service, complete the following setup steps.

1. Log in to the Blueprint Designer using an Admin (ucdpadmin) user.
2. Navigate to the Orchestrations page.
3. Click Add New Service.
   1. Give the service an unique name and optional description.
   2. Select Terraform Service in the Type drop down list.
   3. Enter the full URL to the Terraform Service in the following format: http://<vm_ip>:7000 .
   4. Click Test Connection button to verify the connection.
   5. Click Save button to save your changes.
4. Navigate to the Team page to associate orchestration service with Team.
   1. Select Teams from the admin settings in the Blueprint Designer.
   2. Click the Orchestration Connections tab for the team.
   3. Press the Add button.
   4. Select the orchestration services for the team and click OK.
   5. Click the Save button to save the changes to the team.
