This section includes the new features and functions that are included in IBM® Db2® Data Management Console v3.1.10.

Replication

The Replication page now includes the following improvements:
  • Enhanced throughput chart to use bar chart format.
  • Introduced the following tabs in throughput chart for displaying the Q capture and Q depth details:
    Capture throughput
    Capture throughput - Number of rows that are sent from the source table.
    Capture Q depth - Number of messages on the transmission queue that are associated with the send queue.
    Apply throughput
    Apply throughput - Number of rows that are applied to the target table.
    Apply Q depth - Number of messages on the receive queue.
  • Enhanced latency chart with an interactive legend.
  • Improved performance on latency and throughput charts by reducing the data points and fetch time.
  • Improved Replication home page load speed and performance.
  • Added 15-minutes time interval in the monitoring group details page.
  • Introduced bidirectional configuration type option for creating a monitoring group.

Custom alerts

  • Increased the script size from 32 KB to 2 MB.
  • Introduced the ability to show or hide script content in the execution log.

Jobs

The Jobs page now includes the following improvements:
  • Users can now define an exclusion period to a job schedule. When the exclusion period (start and end time) is specified in a job schedule, the job does not run during this period.
  • Users can now select multiple jobs and pause or resume their schedules.
  • Introduced the ability to show or hide script content in the execution log.

Run SQL

Enhanced the SQL Builder to automatically generate an alias if the base objects have identical names.

Connection configuration

  • Users can now synchronize the database version, edition, and other property details with the information on the database server through a batch operation.
  • Users can now perform batch updates of the monitor and shared credential information.
