boot delete
This command deletes the secondary installation.
Syntax
boot delete
Availability
All platforms except Docker.
Guidelines
The boot delete command deletes the secondary installation. When you delete the secondary installation, keep in mind that its deletion prevents a firmware rollback with the boot switch command.
The upgrade or downgrade operation with the boot image command might fail with the following error.
Loading firmware failed: File decryption error: Decryption failed: No space left on device
Generally, this situation occurs when a DataPower® Gateway has two tenants and the DataPower Gateway does not have enough resources to upgrade the tenant. When you see this message, use the boot delete command to delete the secondary installation.
Example
Delete the secondary installation.
# boot delete
