Defining FTP quoted commands

FTP quoted commands are a named list of FTP commands to send to an FTP server before a file transfer. The FTP client policies in the user agent reference these commands.

About this task

Normally, the command list includes the SITE command. All commands in this list return a result code in the 200 series.
Note: Do not include commands that are related to data transfers. For example, do not include STOU, RETR, PORT, PASV or similar commands.

Procedure

  1. In the search field, enter ftp commands.
  2. From the search results, click FTP Quoted Commands.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Define the basic properties - Name, administrative state, and comments.
  5. Click the Quoted Commands tab.
  6. Define a command.
    1. Click Add.
    2. In the Quoted Command field, enter the command.
    3. Click Apply.
  7. Optional: Repeat the previous step to add another command.
  8. Click Apply to save changes to the running configuration.
  9. Click Save to save changes to the persisted configuration.
