Configuring Microsoft Exchange Online

Complete the steps listed to configure Content Collector for use with Microsoft Exchange Online.

Perform the following steps in the Initial Configuration wizard:

1. Select Microsoft Exchange Online as your Source System on the System Configuration page.
   Selecting Microsoft Exchange Online enables Azure Active Directory and Local Active Directory.
2. Select Azure Active Directory or Local Active Directory and click Next.
   • If you select Azure Active Directory, no further configuration is required and you are directed to the configuration window of the next component you selected on the System Configuration page.
   • If you select Local Active Directory, you are presented with the Microsoft Exchange Configuration page:
     1. Specify the credentials for the user account that accesses the Active Directory information.

        The user ID and password are used for the transactions between your Exchange servers and Content Collector. Enter the SMTP address of the user.

     2. (Optional) If the Active Directory cannot be accessed by using the SMTP address, use the distinguished name of the user in the format CN=ICCConnectorUser,CN=Users,DC=company,DC=com.
3. Click Next.
