Installing and configuring License Service Reporter
License Service Reporter is an aggregator that adds and analyzes the license usage data from multiple clusters, and retrieves the highest license usage of IBM Cloud Paks and IBM® stand-alone containerized software. Deploy one central License Service Reporter on a selected cluster. You can deploy License Service Reporter with the OpenShift console or the CLI.
License Service Reporter is an independent service and can be installed in any namespace.
Supported platforms
License Service Reporter is supported on the following platforms:
- Linux x86_64 on OpenShift Container Platform
- Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
Hardware requirements
If you plan to install License Service Reporter (IBMLicenseServiceReporter
), there are additional minimum hardware requirements.

Storage options for License Service Reporter
License Service Reporter needs storage that supports RWO access mode. For the list of all supported storage options, see Storage options.
By default, License Service Reporter requests 1GiB of storage claim.

The storage and StorageClass need to be defined for License Service Reporter.
