Installing License Service

Install License Service on the cluster and create the operator instance.

Note: The following procedures guide you through the installation of License Service. They do not cover the installation of License Service Reporter, which is not available without an IBM Cloud Pak® on OpenShift Container Platform.

Choose the installation path that fits your environment best.

• Automatic installation using Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM)
• Manual installation on OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) version 4.10 or later
• Manual installation without Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM)
• Manual installation on Kubernetes from scratch with kubectl
• Offline installation
