Your role
Your administrator defines your role, which determines how you interact with cases. For example, an observer role might allow you to view case information but not change it, while a case creator can enter and manage cases. You might be able to access all cases or specific cases.
There are a number of actions that you can take on cases. Depending on your role and the configuration of the IBM Security Orchestration & Automation application, you might not be able to access all the tabs and features listed in this guide.
- Create a case.
- Generate reports on one or more cases.
- Check the status of the case.
- Edit case information and monitor the tasks.
- Perform tasks as assigned.
- Close a case.
- Delete a case.
- Perform other actions configured by your administrator. These actions are accessible through the Actions button in the case page, or a […] button near an object.
