Creating an index pattern in Kibana

Create an index pattern in the Kibana dashboard to retrieve IBM® Cloud Pak for Network Automation data from Elasticsearch.

1. Open the Kibana dashboard and log in with the credentials for OpenShift®.
2. Click Create index pattern.
3. Type the following pattern as the index pattern: lm-logs*
4. Click Next step.
5. Select @timestamp from the Time filter field name list.
6. Click Next step.
7. Click Show advanced options.
8. Type the following pattern as the custom index pattern: lm-logs
9. Click Create index pattern.

The index pattern is available in the Kibana dashboard, as shown in the following example:
