Installing the operators

Operators extend a Kubernetes cluster by adding and managing additional resource types in the Kubernetes API. After you install the operators for Cloud Pak for Integration, you can use them to deploy instances.

This task must be performed by a cluster administrator. For information about this role, see OpenShift Roles and permissions.

You can install your operators by using either the UI or CLI:

• Installing the operators by using the CLI
