Using the Workflow Authoring capability, you can develop workflow automations and workflow automation services in the Workflow Designer that is fully integrated into Business Automation Studio, where you manage your workflow automation projects. You can test, install and run your workflow automations and automation services in the Liberty-based Workflow Server in the Cloud Pak for Automation environment. See Workflows.

The Workflow Designer is fully compatible with the container-supported functionality that is provided in Process Designer and Case Builder. You can move your IBM Business Automation Workflow projects into Business Automation Studio and continue to develop them. See Migrating development projects to IBM Cloud Pak for Automation.
