System requirements

Ensure that the following system requirements are met for IBM Cloud Pak® for Integration accelerator.

  • Ensure that you have an online system.

  • Review the system requirements for OpenShift Container Platform accelerator V4.4.0 at System requirements.

  • IBM Cloud Pak® System V2.3.3.0.

  • (IBM® OS Image for Red Hat Linux® Systems) 64-Bit, V7.7 (RHEL 7.7 X64), base OS image V3.1.0.0:167, which is available with OpenShift Container Platform V2.3.3.0 default data.

  • Deploy a Cloud Pak® Docker Private Registry Shared Service where OpenShift Container Platform V4.4.6 images are hosted. Ensure that the external-storage/nfs-client-provisioner:latest image is available in the same registry if you plan to deploy IBM Cloud Pak for Integration with storage as NFS.     Note: This requirement is applicable only for CP4I on OpenShift Container Platform - HA and not for CP4I on OpenShift Container Platform - HA with OCS.

  • Ensure that a Red Hat Satellite Six Shared Service instance is available with the following packages and are used only by the Helper Node:

    • rhel-7-server-rpms
    • rhel-7-server-extras-rpms
