IBM® WebSphere® Enterprise Service Bus supports the integration of service-oriented, message-oriented, and event-driven technologies to provide a standards-based messaging infrastructure to companies wanting a fast start to an Enterprise Service Bus.
Events that are emitted from the WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus application contain both static and dynamic content. Static content has a structure that is the same for every event emitted by a given kind of component. For example, every Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) process emits information such as processTemplateName and processTemplateValidFrom. Dynamic content is determined by the objects or data flowing through the system. Only certain events can contain this information, which is often called the business payload.
