Disaster recovery

IBM provides disaster recovery (DR) to its customers within an industry-leading time-frame of 4 hours. Recovery procedures are in place for applications used by customers and by Customer Support. In addition, the infrastructure of host systems and data communications are included in the disaster recovery plan. As a result, B2B Integration SaaS can restore processing capabilities to an off-site backup data center within 4 hours.

Recovery objectives are as follows:
4 hr RTO (recovery time objective)
This is the duration of time and a service level objective within which a business process must be restored after a disaster.
4 hr RPO (recovery point objective)
This is the maximum tolerable period in which data might be lost from an IT service due to a major incident. The Recovery Point Objective for the B2B Integration SaaS is four hours.
