What's new in App Connect for Manufacturing 3.0.1.0
IBM App Connect for Manufacturing 3.0.1.0 extends IBM App Connect Enterprise 12.0.4.0 and later modification levels, and provides the following new capabilities, and enhancements that increase time to value for your business.
- Support for IBM App Connect Enterprise V12.0.4.0
- The App Connect for Manufacturing can be installed on App Connect Enterprise 12.0.4.0 and later modification levels.
IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit Version 12.0 features a modernized look and feel that increases development productivity by simplifying the creation of message flows and message models from scratch.
- JSON files for data storage
- You can use JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) files to store App Connect for Manufacturing data.
You can either use JSON files or database system for data storage.
By default, JSON files are used to store data source details, and client item mappings. For more information, see Storing App Connect for Manufacturing business data.
- Update data source properties
- Updates to data source properties, such as secure connection properties, are now possible even
when the client items are mapped to the data source.

- In a high available configuration, multiple integration servers work in parallel such that only one OPC server session is established at a time and items’ subscriptions are transferred without data loss. With high availability, continuous data availability and data processing can be achieved.
