IBM App Connect in containers (Long Term Support Cycle-2)
IBM® App Connect in containers is an enterprise integration engine that provides a way for systems and applications to communicate with each other. IBM App Connect in containers provides authoring and runtime environments that you can use to automate tasks and boost productivity.
You can connect to IBM and third-party applications, APIs, and web services in the cloud or on premises, and create workflows to act on events, get notifications, sync data, track outcomes, and more. You can also build APIs with a request, operations for target applications, and a response, and you can test your workflows (or integrations) before you deploy them to a production runtime environment.
If you are using the IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit to develop message flows that process your business messages and data, you can also deploy those integration solutions into your production runtime environment.
IBM App Connect in containers contains the IBM App Connect Enterprise certified container executable package, which meets specific criteria for packaging and deploying containerized software, and is based on an image of the IBM App Connect Enterprise software product. You can independently deploy and run this executable package in a Red Hat® OpenShift® Container Platform or Kubernetes cluster, or deploy and run the package as part of IBM Cloud Pak for Integration.
IBM App Connect Enterprise certified container is built as a Kubernetes application and is delivered as a Kubernetes Operator. Operators provide a way to package, deploy, and manage Kubernetes applications.
