Creating a favorite list of analyses
Starting with IBM® AD 6.1.3, a new functionality is added to support creating a favorite list of analyses in IBM AD Analyze Client.
Add an analysis to the favorite list from Explore projects view
When an analysis is added to the favorite list, you can access the analysis quickly for all
available projects in IBM AD Analyze Client.
- To add an analysis to the favorite list from the Explore projects view, select a specific
analysis from the right panel, and click the icon (
) in the upper right corner. 
This new analysis is added to the favorite list, which is always on the top of the categories and analysis from the right-menu and can be easily accessed for each available project.
- To add an analysis to the favorite list from Explore…(project name) view, select a specific
analysis from the right panel and click the icon () in the upper right corner.
- To add an analysis to the favorite list for projects, select the related analysis for projects
from the right panel. Then, click the icon ()
in the upper right corner.
This new analysis is added to the favorite list.
Note: After you restart IBM AD Analyze Client, the favorite
list reports or analysis that was created remains visible.
View the favorite list of analysis from Graph Overview view and Graph Inventory
After you select a call graph, the AD Graph Overview view presents the entire graph of the
selected graph and the Graph Inventory view shows a hierarchical tree-like display of all the
components in the selected graph. The option is available if a match exists between the program type
and the availability of favorite analysis.
- To view the favorite list of analysis from Graph Overview view, right-click the selected program
to open the pop-up menu. Then, click Favorites to display the list.
- To view the favorite list of analysis from Graph Inventory view, right-click the selected
program from the hierarchical tree-like display to open the pop-up menu. Then, click
Favorites to display the list.
Remove an analysis from the favorite list
When you remove an analysis from the created favorite list, this analysis cannot be accessed anymore by all available projects from Favorites section and returns to the specific category that it belongs.
- To remove an analysis from the favorite list at the project level, select the analysis in the
Favorites section, and click the icon (
) in the upper right corner.
- To remove an analysis from the favorite list for projects, select two or more projects from the
Explore projects view, and select the related analysis from the Favorites section. Then, click the
icon () in the upper right corner
