Subscribing to weekly Announcements email via IBM My Notifications

IBMers, customers, and business partners can now be notified via email when new announcements have been published on IBM Docs. For this phase of the announcement notifications, you can register to receive an IBM My Notifications email listing all Announcements that have been published each week on IBM Documentation. Future enhancements include subscribing only to Announcements for specific products.

How to subscribe to the IBM Docs new announcements email:

  1. Navigate to IBM Documentation Announcements home page.

  2. From the Notifications Update section, click Subscribe to announcements. Once clicked, IBM Docs detects whether you have logged in or not. If you are logged in, IBM Docs pushes your ibm id to My Notifications support application and registers you to receive an email listing all announcements that have been pushed each week.

    If you are not logged in, IBM Docs prompts you to login. Once you login, you will be subscribed. The Subscribe to announcements button changes to Subscribed

  3. IBM Docs displays a message "Notification subscription. You have been subscribed to notifications for announcements."

  4. Once subscribed, you will receive an email when new annouoncements have been posted to IBM Documentation with a hyperlinked list of all published announcements.

How to unsubscribe from IBM Docs Announcements email:

  1. Navigate to IBM Documentation Announcements home page.

  2. From the Notifications Update section, click Manage subscriptions. Once clicked, IBM Docs detects whether you have logged in or not. If you are logged in, IBM Docs opens My Notifications to your subscription page. You will see All Announcements and other document types that you may be subscribed to, depending on other subscriptions that you have.

    If you are not logged in, IBM Docs prompts you to login. Once you login, the My Notifications subscription page opens.

  3. From the All Announcements row, click "unsubscribe". My Notifications asks if you are sure you want to unsubscribe to All Announcement notifications. Click Yes to unsubscribe or cancel if you change your mind.

  4. Once you click Yes to unsubscribe you will no longer receive the weekly email notifications
