Deprecated and removed features
Occasionally, features in a new version replace features in a previous version. Sometimes features that are no longer needed are removed from the new version. In both cases, it is important to take note of what to do when you upgrade to the new version.
The deprecated icon (
) and
(Deprecated) string are used
to help you identify the current features that are deprecated in the IBM Documentation.
