Configuring shared services

Your selections for shared services depend on the products and components that you chose to deploy.

About this task

To complete the configuration, use the information that you collected when you prepared your environment for container deployment. For a description of the field values, see Configuration parameters.

Procedure

  1. Configure an LDAP connection.

    For more information, see LDAP parameters.

    Important: In the Business Automation Configuration Container user interface, you must change the default value of the Directory service server groupMember id map (groupMemberIdMap) for Microsoft Active Directory to memberOf:member. For more information, see Configuring LDAP user registries in Liberty .
  2. Configure the database.
    1. Select your database and locate the JDBC driver, if necessary. For more information, see JDBC parameters.
    2. Enter other data source information for your required databases. For more information, see ODM for production: Database configuration parameters and IBM® FileNet® Content Manager: Database parameters.
  3. If you selected the options to enable monitoring or logging for a product, click the corresponding tab and enter the values for your deployment.

  4. If you selected the options to enable initialization and verification for your IBM FileNet Content Manager components, click the corresponding tab and enter the values for your deployment.

  5. Click Next.
