In-Baskets page

The In-Baskets page provides a summary of the investigations in a single in-basket.

The first time that you log in to IBM® Counter Fraud Management interface, the In-Baskets page is displayed. You can click the summary of any investigation to view its details.

Sample In-Baskets page

1  The Menu allows you to change the page that you are viewing. Use this menu to return to the In-Baskets page when you navigate through the interface. You can also search for business objects that are associated with investigations, such as accounts, events, and transactions.

2  The user ID menu allows you to switch to another role, such as change from a Supervisor to an Investigator. Keep in mind that only users that are assigned to more than one role can switch roles. You can also log out of the Counter Fraud interface, get redirected to the IBM Knowledge Center for assistance (Help), and obtain program license information (About).

3  The taskbar contains actions that you can perform. From the In-Baskets page, you can Create Investigation icon Create Investigation and create and manage Tasks icon Tasks.

4  Action bar icons are disabled until you select an investigation from the list. For example, a Triage Analyst might check the check circle button associated with an investigation to Confirm that an investigation warrants further scrutiny. An analyst could also check multiple Check circle buttons and click Close to close all selected investigations if fraud is not suspected.

If an investigation has open tasks, then all default state action button are not displayed. An investigation might not show any of these state action buttons if a workflow has not been setup for the fraud context that the investigation is in.

5  The in-basket list displays available in-baskets that you have permission to view. Select from this menu to change to a different in-basket.

6  The Sort by list changes the sort order of the investigations. By default, the items are sorted by the fraud analysis score (Score). Other sort values include Assessment Value, Assignee, Description, Due date, Fraud context, ID, Last updated, Name, Priority, and Status. By default, the items are sorted in descending order.

7  Select the Check circle button associated with one or more investigations. Then, clickMore Actions icon More Actions to perform an action, such as using the Filter iconFilter to define criteria to filter search results. Actions might differ depending on your role, and investigations are locked automatically when a user views the details of an investigation.

You can hover over the locked icon to see the name of the person who locked it. You can also select a locked investigation to view its details; however, no actions are permitted except to print or export investigation information.
