Bootstrap VM creation did not complete

Message: Bootstrap VM creation on the provisioner node (also known as RU7 or compute-1-ru7) did not complete within the expected time.

Diagnostics

  1. As a kni user, on the provisioner node, review the log file /home/kni/clusterconfigs/.openshift_install.log.

  2. Rectify the reported problem.

Next actions

In the installation user interface, click Retry to restart the installation.

If problem persists, do the following steps:
  1. Collect all files from /home/kni/logs, /home/kni/clusterconfigs, and /home/kni/install/results.json.
  2. Contact IBM support .
