Deploying the MDM Clinical Message Pattern sample

Follow these steps to deploy the five applications that are used in the IBM MDM Clinical Message Pattern sample.

About this task

These five applications are used in the IBM MDM Clinical Message Pattern sample. All of the applications can be deployed in any order, but must be deployed to a single server.
  • ConceptExtraction application maps the HL7 messages to the PhrasalStruct messages.
  • HL7Reader1_HL7toHL7DFDL application provides the TCP/MLLP listener for HL7 messages.
  • HL7toMDMESOA application.
  • LPRIngest application integrates the phrasal messages and map to the MDM server instance.
  • MDSWsIxn application provides the re-Identification function.

Procedure

  1. Deploy the ConceptExtraction application.
    1. Right-click and select My integration server > deploy.
    2. Select Application or Libraries.
    3. Highlight ConceptExtraction.
    4. Click OK.
  2. Deploy the HL7Reader1_HL7toHL7DFDL application.
    1. Right-click and select My integration server > deploy.
    2. Select Application or Libraries.
    3. Highlight HL7Reader1_HL7toHL7DFDL.
    4. Click OK.
    5. If a The selected flows cannot be added ... message displays, click Yes.
  3. Deploy the HL7toMDMESOA application.
    1. Right-click and select My integration server > deploy.
    2. Select Application or Libraries.
    3. Highlight HL7toMDMESOA.
    4. Click OK.
  4. Deploy the LPRIngest application to integrate the phrasal messages and map to the MDM server instance.
    1. Right-click and select My integration server > deploy.
    2. Select Application or Libraries.
    3. Highlight LPRIngest.
    4. Click OK.
  5. Deploy the MDSWsIxn application.
    1. Right-click and select My integration server > deploy.
    2. Select Application or Libraries.
    3. Highlight MDSWsIxn.
    4. Click OK.
    The Clinical Message Pattern sample is deployed.
