Data model
IBM® WebSphere® Commerce catalog objects are all modeled in a InfoSphere® MDM Collaboration Server catalog "Catalog Entry Repository".
The data model can be interpreted as follows:
- "Catalog Entry Repository" contains all catalog entries.
- Under all categories:
- A catalog entry can be mapped to a node (category) under the "Catalog Entry Categories" hierarchy.
- Of four types (Product, SKU, Bundle, and Kit):
- A catalog entry can be mapped to a node (type) under the "Catalog Entry Types" hierarchy.
- From all stores:
- A catalog entry can be mapped to a node (store) under the "Stores" hierarchy.
- With or without user defined attribute(s):
- A catalog entry can be mapped to a node (attribute group) under the "Attribute Dictionary" hierarchy.
