Changing the passwords of the supplied users

Initially the supplied users (ncouser and ncoadmin) have the same password as the administrative user. For security reasons you may wish to change the passwords for these users.

To change the passwords of the ncouser and ncoadmin accounts:

1. Log into WebSphere Integrated Solutions Console.
2. Make sure you are logged in as the administrative user (for example, smadmin).
3. Click Users and Groups > Manage Users.
4. Click Search.
5. For each of the passwords you want to change:
   1. Click on the User ID in the list at the foot of the page.
   2. Enter the new password in the Password and Confirm password fields.
   3. Click OK.
