Backing up and restoring Open Data for Industries
The Open Data for Industries service is backed up and restored as part of IBM® Cloud Pak for Data. Disaster recovery for the Open Data for Industries service is configured as part of disaster recovery for Cloud Pak for Data.
About this task
When you back up Cloud Pak for Data, backups are created of persistent volumes that are used by the Open Data for Industries service to preserve configurations. Restoring Cloud Pak for Data resets the Open Data for Industries persistent volumes that contain service state, configurations, and properties back to the time when the backup was taken.
Ensure that you understand which backup methods are supported and what you need to back up.
